Project Description: Construction of this new 70, 000 SF three story classroom and laboratory building at the heart of the SCSU campus carried many challenges with it including renovating and expanding an existing 163,000 SF campus building without impacting campus circulation or security, designing multiple project phasing schemes that allowed 70% of the existing building to remain open at all phases.   Demolition of interior and update of all plumbing and electrical systems; installation of new windows, doors, carpeting and tile floors. New classrooms and lab spaces for School of Arts & Sciences. Site work included concrete work for new addition, sidewalks, drainage systems, paving, site lighting and landscaping.
